Account Rules & Community Guidelines

1.1 Registration

• You must provide a valid email address
• Your username must be between 3 and 30 characters
• Usernames may contain letters, numbers, and underscores only
• You may only create one account per person
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account

1.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• Use a strong, unique password that you do not use on other services
• Never share your login credentials with others
• Report any unauthorized access to your account immediately

1.3 Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You may not transfer your account to another person
• You may not use your account for commercial purposes without authorization

2.1 Audio Samples

When uploading audio samples and creating kits, you must ensure that:

• You own the rights to all samples you upload, or have explicit permission to use them
• Samples do not contain copyrighted material (songs, recordings, etc.) without proper licensing
• Samples are not harmful, offensive, or inappropriate
• File sizes and formats comply with platform limits

2.2 Kit Information

When creating and describing kits:

• Kit names and descriptions must be accurate and not misleading
• Do not use offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate language
• Do not impersonate other artists or brands in kit names
• Categories and tags must accurately reflect the kit's content

2.3 Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited:

• Copyrighted samples used without authorization
• Hateful, discriminatory, or violent content
• Sexually explicit or pornographic material
• Content that promotes illegal activities
• Spam or repetitive low-quality uploads
• Malicious files or content designed to exploit the platform

3.1 Respect

• Treat all community members with respect
• Do not harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Do not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age

3.2 Fair Use

• Do not abuse the platform's resources (storage, bandwidth, API calls)
• Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
• Do not use automated tools to bulk-upload or scrape content
• Do not exploit bugs or vulnerabilities — report them instead

4.1 Your Content

• You retain ownership of original content you create and upload
• By sharing content publicly, you allow other users to listen to and use your kits within the platform
• You may request removal of your content at any time by deleting it

4.2 Others' Content

• Respect the intellectual property of other creators
• Do not copy, redistribute, or claim ownership of others' kits or samples
• Report content that you believe infringes on your rights

5.1 Violations

Crosspad reserves the right to take action against accounts that violate these rules:

• First offense — Warning and content removal
• Repeated violations — Temporary account suspension
• Severe violations — Permanent account ban and content deletion

5.2 Appeals

If you believe your account was actioned in error, you may contact us to request a review. We will evaluate appeals on a case-by-case basis.
