By registering for an account, accessing, or using Crosspad ("the Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Crosspad is a web-based music production platform that allows users to create, edit, and play drum kits and sound pads. The Service includes but is not limited to:
- Creating and managing sound kits
- Uploading and organizing audio samples
- Playing and performing with kits in the browser
- Sharing kits with the Crosspad community
3. Account Registration
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the Service.

- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. User Content
4.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of all audio samples, kits, and other content you upload to Crosspad ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant Crosspad a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and serve your content as necessary to provide the Service.
4.2 Restrictions
You agree not to upload, share, or distribute content that:
- Infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights
- Contains copyrighted material you do not have the right to use
- Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
- Contains malware, viruses, or any harmful code
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
4.3 Content Removal
Crosspad reserves the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, without prior notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use automated means to access the Service without permission
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Upload excessively large files with the intent of disrupting the Service
- Circumvent any rate limits or security measures
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality, is owned by Crosspad and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written consent.
7. Data Storage
Your data, including account information and uploaded content, is stored using Cloudflare's infrastructure (D1 database and R2 storage). We take reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
8. Service Availability
Crosspad is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
- We may delete your account data and User Content
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crosspad shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Crosspad operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
